Summer & Fall Book Orders Due March 27

Reduced Bookstore Hours During Spring Break

The Pilot House bookstore will be closed on Saturday, February 29, and will open with reduced hours Monday, March 3 through Friday, March 7, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. They will also be closed on Saturday, March 8. For more information contact Erin Cave, bookstore manager, at x7125 or cave@up.edu.

Bookstore Closed on July 5

Summer Bookstore Hours

The Barnes & Noble bookstore is moving to summer hours on Monday, May 6, according to manager Erin Cave. The store will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, and will be closed on weekends. For more information contact Cave at cave@up.edu.

New Departmental Barnes & Noble Purchase Policy

To facilitate easier transaction coding and to improve financial controls, the controller’s office has asked Barnes & Noble to discontinue having open departmental accounts at the University bookstore, according to Eric Barger, controller. Kiya Riverman, Environmental Science, was awarded a grant for $489,935.00 on behalf of the U.S. Department of Defense, for her research “Impacts of spatial-temporal precipitation, snowpack properties, and snowmelt variability on alpine landscapes and runoff.” February 15, 2025.

Christina Astorga, Theology, served as a Member of the Editorial Board for the Journal of Moral Theology. February 26 – July 7, 2019. Astorga also served as the Head of the Local Arrangement Committee for the Catholic Theological Society of America. June 13, 2024 – June 15, 2025
