UP Chamber Orchestra Performance: Vivaldi and Piazzola (Feb. 11)

West Coast Conference Webinar: ACT! to Support WCC Athlete Mental Health (Feb. 12)

The conference office is pleased to announce our mental health webinar series and partnership with the U.S. Center for Mental Health & Sport. This interactive and engaging webinar is the first half of the U.S. Center for Mental Health & Sport’s ACT! Mental Health Awareness Certification and will highlight the factors in sport that serve to protect athletes. The webinar will also look at factors that put athletes at risk of experiencing mental health challenges, and it will suggest ways to provide support. (Read more.)

Digital Lab: Spring Workshops (Feb. 19-23)

UP Internship & Job Fair (Feb. 23)

The Career Education Center will be holding an internship and job fair for students in the Beauchamp Rec Center from 1 to 4 p.m. on Feb. 23. The CEC will also host a series of Job Fair Prep Workshops in Franz 110 and have extended drop-in hours prior to the event. (Read more).

Kiya Riverman, Environmental Science, was awarded a grant for $489,935.00 on behalf of the U.S. Department of Defense, for her research “Impacts of spatial-temporal precipitation, snowpack properties, and snowmelt variability on alpine landscapes and runoff.” February 15, 2025.
