Career services will offer LinkedIn Labs to faculty, staff, and students during the spring semester, consisting of interactive workshops that help build LinkedIn profiles and online networking. Please create a basic LinkedIn profile prior to attending any LinkedIn Lab, as well as a resume and laptop. Thursday, January 22 will feature “Build Your Profile” at 11:30 a.m. in the career services office, and “Build Your Network” is on Thursday, January 29 at 11:30 a.m. in career services. Also, faculty are encouraged to take advantage of “Don’t Cancel That Class” during spring semester. Career services staff members are available to present career workshops in the classroom. Presentation topics include: internship and job search strategies, interviewing skills, resume and cover letter development, professional networking, and LinkedIn.
